Understanding an Ever-Evolving Market

The Chicago market continues to evolve, and is very different than what we have seen in many years. Some areas have recovered completely from the fallout of the 2007-2008 market crash, while others are still struggling with foreclosure and short sale inventory - many areas are also seeing a boom in development, all of which continues to impact the real estate market, affecting buyers and sellers alike as conditions evolve.

Understanding the ever-fluid pricing issues involved in valuing your home is critical to success. Likewise, making smart and aggressive offers on a prospective new purchase is extremely important.  Home sales or purchases must be executed with market knowledge and expertise, as well as strength at the negotiating table, all of which I bring to bear for my clients.

Experience and Expertise

After graduating from the University of Illinois with a Master’s of Business Administration in finance and marketing in 2001, I began buying and selling my own real estate in Chicago; everything from multi-unit buildings to condos and, most recently, single-family rehabs.

Since 2005, I have represented clients and enabled them to achieve their own goals and objectives while selling or buying properties.  I have worked with a variety of different types of clients as well, investors, first-time buyers, people looking for their second home and people looking for an in-town get-away. 

My knowledge of the market is also a strong asset that I bring to the table.  My areas of expertise are on the north and west sides of Chicago, and north and west suburbs.  My knowledge of these areas is buttressed by my involvement in the community; I am involved with Uptown United, the Bucktown Wicker Park Chamber of Commerce Special Services Area 34, Voice of the People and most recently Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago. 

I have significant expertise that I will bring to the table on your behalf, so you can have confidence throughout the transaction that the most optimal outcomes will be achieved.  Additionally, I have broad-based business knowledge and understanding, having earned an MBA from the University of Illinois.

I have been a realtor for 12 years, successfully weathering a rough market - and enabling my clients to excel in it.
